After a devastating breakup with his girlfriend, college student Kazuya Kinoshita turns to a rental girlfriend service to ease his loneliness. He rents the beautiful and seemingly perfect Chizuru Mizuhara, but their fake relationship quickly becomes complicated when they must keep up the charade for Kazuya's hospitalized grandmother. As Kazuya and Chizuru's lives become increasingly intertwined, they discover that genuine emotions can't be rented.
