One Piece

One Piece is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Eiichiro Oda. It has been serialized in Shueisha's Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine since July 1997, becoming the best-selling manga series in history with over 516 million copies in circulation worldwide.

The story follows the adventures of Monkey D. Luffy, a young pirate who dreams of becoming the King of the Pirates. After accidentally eating a Devil Fruit called the Gum-Gum Fruit, Luffy gains the ability to stretch like rubber but loses the ability to swim. Together with his diverse crew, the Straw Hat Pirates, Luffy explores the Grand Line in search of the legendary treasure known as the "One Piece." Along their journey, they encounter powerful enemies, make lifelong friends, and uncover the mysteries of the world while pursuing their individual dreams.
