My Status as an Assassin Obviously Exceeds the Hero's (Assassin de aru ore no Sutetasu ga Yuusha yori mo Akiraka ni Tsuyoi Nodaga) is a Japanese light novel series written by Matsuri Akai and illustrated by Tōzai. It began serialization on Shōsetsuka ni Narō in January 2017, with manga adaptation by Hiroyuki Aigamo starting in July 2018.

The story follows Oda Akira, an ordinary high school student who is summoned to the fantasy world of Morigan along with his entire class. Each student receives a unique job class to fight against the impending demon invasion, but while his classmate becomes the Hero, Akira is assigned the Assassin class. Despite initially seeming unremarkable, Akira discovers his status parameters far exceed those of the Hero. As he uncovers the kingdom's conspiracy and is forced to flee, Akira embarks on a journey of revenge alongside the elf princess Amelia Rosquartz, using his overwhelming assassin abilities to challenge the corrupt system that betrayed him.
